New or Existing Practice

New or Existing Practices-New Patient Procedures:

WOW!  This is where your business is made to be successful or defeated.  The new patient procedures established in any clinic are the place I usually start to look for problems to troubleshoot in established practices.  What may seem like small things, such as collecting insurance and/or “referred by” information online or over the phone before the new patient comes in, are ALL important.  Let me teach you what is important, why it is important and train you how to customize a new patient procedure manual!  Once completed, the anxiety of processing new patient for you and your staff is as minimal as possible and the new patients go home and refer the “right” patients to you.  You create your own clientele through the new patient procedures.  If you can master the art of new patient procedures, you will never have to worry about your referral numbers.

New or Existing Practices-Phenomenal Report of Findings:
Build for your future!  You will hear that a lot from me when you watch my videos or speak to me on the phone.  Report of Findings (ROF’s) are a perfect example.  So many times I see new and existing doctors in ROF’s for soooooooo long!  Then the clinic gets busy and the whole timing of patient processing or “traffic” is thrown off (from scheduling to check out).  Building the end in the beginning, timing consistency and still providing excellent patient care is a very tough balance.  You can find your own way and make your own mistakes (losing an undetermined amount of referrals along the way) or you can get help customizing your ROF’s.

New or Existing Practice-Hiring Personnel/Creating “Super C.A.’s” and KEEPING Them!
How should you hire a C.A.?  Hire a patient?  Do 15 interviews?  Or is there a new and better way?  I recommend doing the group interview that my video teaches.  The group interview gives you the opportunity to interview those 15 people all at once, saving you time.  The group interview also gives you the chance to see how each and everyone interacts and reacts to each other.  After all, those interactions and reactions are what the C.A. will be doing every day with YOUR patients!  I have a tried and true video training along with all the forms necessary to do the most effective, efficient interview you have ever imagined!  When you hire your C.A. after the group interview, the new employee takes the position much more seriously when they know they have been the one “chosen” out of the group.  Trust me.  The group interview works.  The C.A.’s I have placed from this process stay for an average of 2 and a half years, which is about 18 months longer than the average employment of a C.A.

New or Existing Practice-How to Have Accountability of Doctor and Staff
Setting up things like weekly and monthly reports within your software system and learning how to make sense of the statistics given is ALL IMPORTANT to creating and maintaining a successful practice.  It has been very evident which doctors have paid attention to their stats and which was haven’t when I have looked at the number of clinics that I have looked at.  Predictably, the doctors who pay attention don’t require nearly as much troubleshooting as those who do not.  Most often, existing doctors don’t know how to suddenly start making stats a priority with the staff that they employ.  New doctors usually don’t know which stats to pay attention to and which ones are ultimately important.

Your statistics will help you maintain control over your practice.  The stats also provide a report card on your employee performance.  Complete staff meeting training is available through my video trainings.  Conducting bi-weekly staff meetings properly not only helps you keep control of the practice, the staff meetings also help educate your staff in chiropractic terminology and patient conditions.  Helping you achieve your clinic goals is part of what my training does best.
